This is a real boost for Isle of Wight jobs, as Vestas in Newport have been selected to produce 99 blades for the Seagreen Project.
Seagreen is a 1075MW offshore wind project currently under construction, located off the coast of Scotland in the Firth of Forth. Once completed, Seagreen will be Scotland’s largest windfarm.
